Title: Suspended Cymbals not Loading properly Sibelius 6 - VDL Template
Post by: petrinowitsch13 on March 25, 2020, 04:33:40 PM
I am not having any luck getting suspended cymbals to work properly using the VDL Template for Sibelius 6 and using Kontakt 4.

Please let me know what screen shots I can take to help fix the issue.

Thanks,
Eric

Attached is my playback devices. I recently switched from a Mac to PC and am trying to get everything up and running properly.

I also discovered the following additional issues yesterday:
1) When I try to use expression text like "cresc" a bunch of strange characters pop up
2) Tenor Shots are not soundiing.

Thanks for any help you can provide!
Eric

1) Hmm... sounds like a system font issue. I'm not sure how to fix (many years removed from Windows), the fine folks at Sibelius should be able to help.

2) Are they being triggered correctly in Kontakt Player? Are you running VDL 2.5.5?

I haven't updated to 2.5.5 yet but have considered it.

You'll need to update to 2.5.5, the Template is made for that version of VDL (review page 5 of the Readme).
