Topic: Freezing

When I open either the Battery ONLY Template_FIN11.mus, Indoor Template _FIN11.mus, or Outdoor Template_FIN11.mus the template loads but as soon as I try to enter a note I get an error message and Finale freezes and shuts down.   


The error message:
finale.exe- Application Error
The exception unknown software exception (0x7486c955. Click on OK to terminate the program.

How do I fix the problem?

Finale 2011
Virtual Drumline 2.5
Microsoft Vista

Are you opening Finale first then one of the templates? I'm not a Windows user so hopefully some one will jump in with a solution. I'd also suggest that you post in the Finale forums, if you haven't done so yet.
