Topic: Score Manager, Perc Midi Map, & Perc Layout Selection

I'm on a MBP running OSX 10.7.4, Finale 2012a.r3, VDL 2.5.5, and your most recent templates 2012.a.1.

When trying to use the Midi maps provided through VDL and WriteScore, I do not see them listed in the Perc Layout Section.

For instance:

1. I open the Score Manager
2. I select "Rack Combo A" from the Perc Midi Map selection tool
3. I need to use/edit "Rack Combo A," but it does not appear in the Notation Style "Settings" dialogue box. What does appear is a generic list of Percussion Layouts that is seemingly unrelated to anything available in the Perc Midi Map selection dialogue.

I can't seem to find a way to get them to align, and I've even tried creating new ones in the midi map editor and the layout creator, but still can't get them to communicate. All of this for a blasted temple block part!

I hope this is clear enough for you to understand my dilemma.

Many thanks in advance,
Steven Walker

Stephen - Which template (Battery, Ensemble, Default) are you using when this happens? From the steps you have listed it appears as if you aren't working with a template file. The generic list of percussion layouts found in the Notation Style: Percussion should not be showing up in the list.
