VDL Soundset 7.0a not appearing in drop down box.

Hello,

I am running Sibelius 7.1.3 and VDL 2.5 on Macintosh 10.7.5.

I've reviewed the ReadMe and the forums as thoroughly as possible.  I cannot make SoundSet 7.0a appear.  As you can see in the screenshot 6.0b is still there so I'm somewhat familiar with the process.  For some reason there is a hangup.  I have a screen shot of files i copied to the AVID Sibelius folder and the drop down menu.

It looks like the second picture is correct, but that doesn't explain why the 6.0b sound set is showing up in the first one.

1) What's the FULL path of the Sounds folder you're placing the new items?
2) Are you getting the S7S SoundSet to show up with Sibelius Player?

1) The full path is Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/Avid/Sounds. I also have another folder at Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/Avid/Sibelius Sounds/Sibelius 7 Sounds/.
2) No. S7S Soundset is not showing.

I found the solution.  Apparently when I tried with SoundSet 6.0b I copied it to every sound folder i found in that sibelius folder. After doing that with the other files, it popped right up.

OK, cool, you got it.

I'm going to guess that the XML files ended up in the Sibelius User's folder, which is at:

    /Users/your username/Library/Application Support/Avid/Sibelius 7


Anyway, it's going now.
