Topic: Sibelius 7.5 and VDL Templates

I asked the question on the Sibelius Facebook page about changes impacting sound set mapping and the templates by going from 7.1.3 to 7.5. They indicated that everything should work fine with no issues.

At this point are there any planned changes you know of that would require a template upgrade for 7.5?

VDL 2.5.5

Hi Greg

I'm not anticipating anything in 7.5 that would require a template update. But I'll just have to see for sure once I can get into it.

I'll let everyone know either way.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll keep that in mind as I consider upgrading. I'm not sure there are any features I necessarily need in this update.

In regards to the Sibelius soundset template, are there any new instruments introduced in this upgrade? I haven't found a specific list clearly on the Sibelius website indicating that or not.
