Im trying to transfer the sound set xml file and there is not a "sounds" folder C:\users\name\appdata\roaming\sibelius 7\SOUNDS. It stops at sibelius 7 with no option of sounds HELP? Im using windows 8

You need to create the "Sounds" folder. See Installing A Sound Set for more.

Okay I made the folder and everything but it is not showing up in the playback devices??

Be sure to restart Sibelius. Otherwise, attach a screen shot of what you see in the sound set drop down list. Do you see one called "Virtual Drumline 2.5"?

i have it all showing up but now there is no sound playback

Does VDL playback correctly when in stand alone mode?
