I recently upgraded to Finale 2014 from 2012. I also purchased the 2014 Templates. Due to some compatibility with a Mac update, Finale developed an update that would work on the new OX S. It is now Finale 2014.5.
They sent it out as a FREE update since it wasn't the fault of the user to have lost compatibility with the new OX S. Now, none of my percussion layouts work. Pitched instruments are fine but all percussion layouts are said to be "not found".
This is NOT a Finale issue. I went ahead and deleted all of the contents of the Templates from the Finale application and the layouts themselves do work. Once I add the contents of the Write Score Templates, the percussion layouts become "not found" once again.
