Sibelius 7.5 crashing

I just switched from a windows laptop to a macbook pro running El Capitan 10.11.5.

I moved all my files over and now Sibelius crashes every time I start it up.

I tried opening up a blank score and it works up until I load a VDL instrument. As soon as I go to playback configurations and switch the Kontakt sound set to VDL SoundSet 7.0a the program crashes.

Im running Sibelius 7.5
VDL 2.5
Kontakt 5
VDL SoundSet 7.0a

Hi, welcome to the forum.

Go into the Sib user's folder (/Users/yourusername/Library/Application Support/Avid/Sibelius, is hidden by default) and delete the "Playback Configurations" directory. Sibelius will generate a new one upon launch/restart. Create a new Configuration, see how it goes.

I tried this but I do not see any files in the Sibelius folder. You mentioned it is hidden. I can't seem to unhide it (I tried looking up that, too).
