Working with Sibelius and Finale

 I am working on a project with a friend- I am using a Sibelius file and he's using Finale 25. When I send him my file, all of my text and lyric text get scrunched up and looks weird. Moreover, a lot of text is also wrong. He is also using a template from The Write Score.  any one know who to fix this? Thank you in advance.

How are you sending the file, what format? Are you both working on PCs or different operating systems?

Hi Mike

Coming or going, Sibelius and Finale don't use the same things under the hood. Both make use of MusicXML, but again, they're different in how they implement. I don't know of an example where this process has worked well.

Best case scenario: both of you use the same program.
