Importing Finale to logic pro x

Hello im currently trying to import a document from finale to logic pro x with a full battery section as well i know there is a way but i haven't found anywhere that could help me out has anyone tried or done this before ?
i am using finale v 26 and using percussion from vdl

Aaron,

Save the Finale file as a midi file, then import/open the midi file in Logic. You may be able to save the entire Finale score and/or individual staves as audio files/tracks and the import them into Logic. I've not worked this method, just the midi method, nor have I tried saving a Windows Finale file and then moved it to Logic (Mac only).

Beyond these suggestions, I can't provide any further help.
