Kontakt 5 not appearing in Sibelius 7

I have Sibelius 7.1.2, Kontakt Player 5, VDL 2.5.2, bought the Sibelius 7/VDL template, am running Windows 7, and am doing this on a new HP Laptop so there are no previous versions of anything on here.

Problem: When I open the Playback Configuration in the Template, Kontakt does not appear at all in the available devices (let alone a drop-down for the soundset).  Only Microsoft GS Wavetable Synth appears.

Any suggestions?

Sounds like you need to copy the KP5 VST plugin file into the Avid VST folder.

Copy the file "Kontakt 5.dll" from (assuming 64-bit):

     C:\Program Files\Native Instruments\VSTPlugins 64 bit

Paste to:

     C:\Program Files\Avid\VSTPlugins


Let me know if that gets it.
