Template usage in scores that are started without using the template.

Do the maps work on a sibelius 6 document that was started without using a template?  So far, it seems like I only have access to the VDL library if I load one of the templates directly.  Maybe I'm missing something in the read me.  Any help?

No, not without importing the VDL instrument definitions into it. Following the instructions in Appendix D of the Readme, export the VDL Template's House Style, then import that into your older score.
