Help With Templates

I know you guys are going to think Im stupid, but I've hard Sibelius 7 for 1 month now and just purchased the templates, and I have a question on how to use them.

When I am ready to create a score, do I have to open the program with the .sib file in the template, and then go to add the instruments that I need to the score that I want to use?

That's one way to do it. For each writing project you want, make a copy of the .sib template file.

Or, you can follow the instructions in Appendix C for creating a Manuscript Paper and choosing it when creating a new file within Sibelius.
