Cymbals on keyboard instruments

Some of the VDL mallet instruments have sus cymbals at the top of the instrument.  Am I able to use my midi input to access those sounds and have the notation be so high above the staff?  (preferably with an X notehead at the top of the staff)

Sibelius' SoundWorld does not allow there to be both pitched and unpitched sounds (properly) defined within a single instrument definition. As you've been doing already, Instrument Changes are the way to go.

Please review my Sounds Above the Range note in the Readme for more - page 10. I used to have a little bit more info than that: one of the many pluses for using the full cymbal instruments via instrument changes is that you have a lot more to work with in your writing than trying to use what's mapped above the ranges.
