Kontakt 5 not showing as an available device

When I go to make a new playback device Kontakt 5 does not show up.

Please provide more information about your system specs and what you've already done to try to fix things.

One guess I have at the moment is you didn't copy the Kontakt Player VST file(s) into the Avid VST folder.

I'm running Sibelius 8.5.1, Windows 10, Kontakt Player 5, and Virtual Drum Line 2.5.5. I haven't tried anything to fix this problem. Could you elaborate more on the VST folder stuff? Thank you for helping!

So I fixed the first problem with a YouTube video, but now I have the problem where the sounds aren't playing when I insert a note or when I play it back.

You need to use the "VDL SoundSet 7.0a" sound set.

You many want to review the setup instructions in the Readme, page 7 in particular.

That soundset isn't there even though the xml file is in the correct folder

I've found my problem. I named the Sounds folder Sound instead. Thank you for all the help! It works perfectly now.
