Hi, welcome to the forum!

What versions of Sibelius and Kontakt are you using?

Please attach a screen shot of your Playback Configuration.

Hello! I am having problems with Sibelius loading the sounds automatically into Sibelius. If anyone could help that would be greatly appreciated! I have already contacted tapspace about this issue and recommended I contact TWS.

Hello!

VDL is showing up perfectly fine on Kontakt 5, and Kontakt is showing up in Sibelius.  However the soundset isnít showing up in the drop down menu. Iím positive that itís in the right path, and I did have to create a sounds folder. I have installed Sibelius in the past but I donít know if thatís the issue. Also I reinstalled VDL and Kontakt altogether but that still did not work.

Hmm... can't say I've seen that before. Have you tried posting in the Sibelius chat?

I'm new to Sibelius, giving it a shot after using Finale for years.

The text on all the menus in sibelius ultimate look terrible on my machine. I have a mid-2012 (Non-Retina) MacBook Pro with 1680x1050 screenhttps://www.dropbox.com/s/2a9xd3e05ysq3qy/Sibelius%20Looks%20bad%20on%20mid2012%20macbook%20pro.png?dl=0

Is there anything I can do?

Major apologies for not getting online recently, things have been busy.

The regular snare hits were placed on the treble clef A position because that is where I traditionally have written them. They may be changed to any location of your choosing by editing the percussion layout maps. These may be found by opening the Score Manager window > selecting the snare staff in the upper half of the window > then in the lower half/right side you should see Notation Style: Percussion and a Settings button. Click the Settings button and in the window that opens it is here that you can Select, Create, and Edit these layouts. Highlight the map you wish to Edit and click the Edit button. In the dialog box that opens, navigate to the sound you want to edit (left side) and on the right you are able to edit noteheads and staff positions. Tutorials and the Finale Knowledge Base/Help Guides can provide additional information.

Hope this helps and let me know if you need anything else.

Hello,

I just bought virtual drumline and I purchased your template for use on Finale 26. All seems good, except all the primary snare notation (snare hits r and l) is on the "A" space instead of the "C" space. Any way I can adjust this? Is it because I am using Finale 26 instead of Finale 2014.5? Suggestions?

Thanks!

The soundsets are in the correct places.

The first image I attached shows what the Playback Configuration's Sibelius Player instance should look like, with the S7S-SE6 SoundSet applied. Second image shows the choices in the dropdown once you double click the field in that column.

From there, find the .sib file from the Bundle package labeled "S7S-SE6_Bundle_7.1a_(Sib7).sib", make a copy of it for each project you start, or follow the instructions in Appendix C of any of the Readme files to Export Manuscript Paper.

Then, once you have a copy of the .sib file open, the third image shows the S7S and SE6 Templates in the Choose from dropdown, of which you'll want to select instruments from these to use in your score/project.

Let me know if you have further questions.
