Last post by sethquadz - July 28, 2021, 07:30:35 PM Just setup on a new computer and having issues with the maps playing incorrect sounds. So far I have:
- E natural (lower) in octave -1 playing unison bass drum sound instead of unison rim sound (but it does notate a rim)
- All tenor shots for drums 2-high spock pkay drum 1 shot sound, and drums 3/4 play drum 2 shot sound, same for normal drum hits
How do I fix this?

Last post by TBoliske - July 21, 2021, 08:47:44 AM Check the MIDI Device Annotation folder, both locations. ~/Library/Application Support/MakeMusic/Finale (the name may also be Finale26 if you have Finale27 installed), or ~/Users/Library//Application Support/MakeMusic/Finale (naming as above).

Last post by mikep - July 20, 2021, 08:35:56 PM I'd like to update my Mac to Big Sur, but only Finale 26 will run. So I opened the file and everything looks good, but playback was off. Realized the maps are missing. I don't see option to choose the maps. Are they in some folder and do they need to be copied into a Finale 26 folder?

Last post by Hugh Smith - July 09, 2021, 12:23:02 PM Your Playback Configuration looks good. (Since you're on Mac, you want to use the AU version of Kontakt anyway, not the VST.) Well, the Sibelius Player sound set doesn't look right. When testing/working with the following, remove Sibelius Player and just have VDL in the configuration.
1) Can you manually trigger sounds in Kontakt Player when in stand-alone mode? If yes....
2) Do the TriggerTest files playback as expected?
3) What's the exact version of Sibelius?

I believe I have followed all installation steps up to adding instruments in sibelius, but I am not hearing any sounds in playback. I have Kontakt 6 running VDL, I have opened the template and the soundset is active. The only reason I could think this may not be working is - my VST plug-ins from Kontakt are not showing in my library. I cant figure out why this is happening, and reinstallation has not fixed it. I've asked this question in the Native Instruments forum but havent received any help.
I'm running on a Mac 10.14.6. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
